Utku Kuran
Biography
Utku was born in Izmir, Turkey in 1994. After completing his studies in Istanbul, he attended a master's in Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science program at Lund University, Sweden. As a sustainability scientist, he mainly researches topics related to social-ecological systems dynamics and biodiversity conservation. Currently, he is a freelance writer for Crystal and Masterpiece magazines. During his travels and research projects, he aims to capture social life and the natural world. He translates scientific knowledge and communicates science by capturing engaging visuals and stories. He believes inspiring and compelling stories always have the power for social change and can spur positive action.
